Our association was founded with the name "Associazione per la Promozione di Iniziative e Tecniche Ultrasonografiche" in 2005 by Manuela Ravelli. It is a non-profit association and operates in the medical scientific field.
Our work is primarily devoted to the yearly organisation of courses in clinical ultrasonography (with a special attention to nephrology). They are aimed at promoting the acquisition of a theoretical-practical knowledge of specialistic ultrasonography, starting from the physics of ultrasound down to the specialistic clinical applications, the new technologies and research.
Prof. Gherardo Buccianti is the current Scientifc Director.
